Yesterday (15 nov), Rotterdam The Hague Airport organised an ‘Airport Neighbour Day’ for children (last of 3 this year). A nice and varied programme was offered including theatre, a sniffing dog, marshalling workshop, fire brigade demonstration, and a nice airplane on demo by Cirrus Instruction Europe (CIE).
Some 400 people attended, split in morning and afternoon sessions. Was nice to contribute and answer all the questions kids could ask including “is this airplane real” ? All loved the cockpit and the parachute !
